Vanessa is a passionate and enthusiastic Exercise Physiologist and Exercise Scientist who has recently joined the team at Capital Strength and Conditioning in Barton.


She has a functional and multidisciplinary approach to exercise rehabilitation and is dedicated in helping clients achieve their goals and pro-actively self-managing their health through a regular exercise regime.


She primarily works with Cardiopulmonary/Metabolic, Musculoskeletal and Mental Health conditions such as Diabetes, Weight Management, Acute/Chronic Lower Back Pain, PTSD, Anxiety, Depression and Falls Prevention by using evidence-based exercise programs.  She also has an interest in improving functional movement, sports performance and preventing sport-related injuries.


Throughout her four-year university degree, Vanessa also worked as the Senior Intern for the South East Regional Academy of Sport (SERAS) and assisted in the strength and conditioning of developing athletes of various teams and individual sports such as touch football, golf, netball, hockey and snow sports.


In her spare time, Vanessa enjoys playing Basketball, long-distance running, cooking, hiking and hopes to complete a Masters in Nutrition and Dietetics in the future.
